Because Tango is so awesome and has so many benefits an extreme part of our mission is making it easily accessible to the community. If you have never danced in your life, Tango or otherwise, this part's for you!
All our classes are located in historic Mar Vista, at the SITE of Intrepid Tango Excellence, 12958 Washington Blvd., Mar Vista, Los Angeles, CA 90066. Right, there's the neon orange "Tango" sign.
The easiest way to get started is with a Tango 101 WEEKEND INTENSIVE!

The course is excellent value at $65 for three 2-hour workshops, payable by cash, check, or PayPal. It is the full prerequisite to the Tango 102 courses beginning in May. Register now by emailing Tango Mar Vista, tangomarvista [at] gmail [dot] com with your name, gender, phone, and email address. First come, first serve. You can even start Tango with private instruction or small-group private lessons for you and a group of your friends, if you want!
If you're in the neighborhood, stop by our friendly eXtreme aXis Practica on Thursday nights from 9pm-midnight - you can see what we're up to and meet the community!
Our proudest beginners program is a 20-week university-style intro to social Tango dancing, called the Tango Induction Opportunity which begins every January and lasts through June. Check back with us toward November if you are interested in being part of the 2010 group.
