Mitra Martin

email Mitra

Mitra's decade-long immersion and devotion to Tango followed on the heels of a naturally artistic childhood. Extensively involved in performing arts at Princeton University, Mitra discovered Tango in Buenos Aires and pursued it passionately on the streets of NYC and most other major cities.

A versatile performer, she has worked with some of the finest and most subtle Tango dancers in the US. Mitra is a creative, exciting, and sensitive teacher, drawing on her Montessori background; wealth of body-awareness work; and deeply personal experience of Tango.

What kind of mischief is Mitra up to today?
